Wilkes-Barre, PA (9-1-10) - Four different players recorded goals as King's College downed Keystone 4-0 in non-conference field hockey action.

The match was the season opener for both squads.

The Monarchs, who held a 23-2 advantage in shots, strung together three second half goals en route to the win.

Field hockey looks to build on past success

La Plume, (8-31-10) – Two years ago Keystone College re-introduced field hockey as a varsity sport and the Giants promptly turned in a 10-win season and a berth in the conference semi-finals.

Last season the team did it one better turning in an 8-0 conference mark en route to a school record 14-win season and another berth in the conference semi-finals.

This year head coach Kacy Manning will be looking to take that past experience as the team continues to strive for the next level.

La Plume, PA (8-12-10) - The 2010 schedules for the Keystone College men's and women's soccer teams, men's and women's cross country teams, women's tennis, volleyball and field hockey teams are now available on-line.

The schedule for the men's golf team is still being finalized and will be posted once all competitions are confirmed.

The women's soccer, volleyball and field hockey teams will all kick off their respective seasons on Wednesday September 1, with the volleyball team having the honor to host Keystone's first home sporting event of the 2010-2011 season.
