Quick strikes send men's soccer to CSAC loss

Gwynedd Valley, PA (10-13-09) - Gwynedd-Mercy College scored twice in a 16 second span to send Keystone College to a 2-1 men's soccer loss.
With the victory Gwynedd-Mercy moves to 7-7 overall and 4-1 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 3-11 and 1-5 in conference play.
The Griffins used a pair of goals in the fifth minute of the game to account for their entire offensive output. Tom Petroski recorded an unassisted goal at 4:05 and Chris Playford added a goal just seconds later at 4:21 off an assist from Tim Mumford.
The Giants avoided the shut-out and made a game out of it when Scott Bensinger scored off a Jamie Ellis assist at 80:32.
Keystone keeper Ryan Gilroy recorded seven saves in net.
The Giants return to action on Saturday at 3pm when they play host to Immaculata University. The match will be the second game of a doubleheader with the women's team, as the Keystone campus celebrates homecoming.
