Field Hockey completes undefeated CSAC slate

Rosemont, PA (10-24-09) - Keystone College converted three second half goals, including two by Katie Butzer, as the Giants wrapped up their conference schedule with a perfect 8-0 mark.  

Keystone, which won its tenth straight match, improves to 13-2 overall, while Rosemont falls to 1-12 and 1-7.

Lori-Ann Marino scored the only goal of the first half at the 20:26 mark to put the Giants up 1-0.  Whitney Hubshman assisted on the score.

The Giants exploded for three second half goals, including two in the span of a 1:30 by Butzer.  Butzer converted her first at 55:20 with the assist from Kelsey Drozda and her second at 56:48 from Brackney Brotzman.

Keystone closed out its scoring with four seconds left in the game when Samantha Morgan converted off a Kellina Yarrish assist.

Melinda Moore recorded three saves in goal for the Giants, who outshot Rosemont by a 37-3 count.

Keystone will return to action on Thursday at 7pm in their regular season finale when they travel to Scranton.
