Cabrini pulls off field hockey upset
Scranton, PA (11-4-09) - Cabrini College rode the momentum of an early goal as the fourth seed Cavaliers stunned top seed Keystone College 2-0 in semi-final field hockey action in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC).

The Cavaliers, who evened their season mark at 10-10, advance to Saturday's CSAC title match at noon at Immaculata University.  Keystone ends its season at 14-3.

Stephanie Campanaro put Cabrini out in front for good just 8:32 into the match.  After a shot by the Cavaliers' Maura Gordon and save by Keystone keeper Melinda Moore, Gordon took the rebound to feed Campanaro for the score.

Gordon iced the match at the 49:01 mark outracing the Keystone defense and converting from the right side from ten yards out.

Cavalier keeper Caitlin Donahue recorded seven saves in goal, while Moore stopped five shots for the Giants.
