Thomas knocks in six as Giants sweep Rosemont
Rosemont, PA (4-17-09) - Megan Thomas drove in six runs as part of a five hit day, as Keystone College took both ends of its doubleheader with Rosemont College 20-5 and 21-12.

The Giants knocked out 22 hits on the day, but is was Rosemont's 23 errors that helped play a key role in Keystone's 41-run outburst.

In the opener Meagan Cunningham provided the big blast with her first home run of the year, while driving in three and scoring thee times.  Cunningham also earned the win, allowing two hits and no runs.

Thomas doubled in the opener while scoring three and knocking in three, while Kim Kwitoski also doubled as part of her two RBI and two runs scored game.  Leah Simko, Lori-Ann Marino and Kelly Iovieno all collected two hits. with each also driving in two.

In the nightcap Rosemont jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first, but the Giants responded by scoring in five of the six innings, as the Ramblers committed 15 errors in the game.

Cunningham came on in relief to record the win, allowing one run in six innings and striking out nine.

Thomas banged out four hits to go along with three RBI's and three runs scored.  Kwitoski also added a multi-hit game with two singles.  Cunningham and Heather Trudgeon both doubled, while Katie Butzer, Kendra Bianchi and Trudgeon all drove in two.
