Fallon's 28 points not enough as Giants fall to Lions
Reading, PA (2-2-10) - Ellen Fallon recorded a double-double, with game highs in points and rebounds, but it was not enough as the Giants fell at Penn State Berks 65-60 in non-conference women's action.

With the victory Penn State Berks moves to 10-8 overall, while Keystone falls to 4-14.

Fallon hit for 28 points on 53% shooting from the field, while also pulling in 10 rebounds to lead all players.

The game got off to a slow start as the teams fought to an 8-8 tie with 14:07 remaining and Berks held a slim 16-15 lead four minutes later before taking control of the half with an 11-0 run. The Nittany Lions held the Giants scoreless over the next seven minutes of play, building a 27-15 advantage with 3:35 left in the half.

The Giants quickly answered the Berks run putting together an 11-1 run of their own to end the first half  with new life down by a bucket, 28-26.

The second half saw the teams battle to six lead changes and six ties.  Keystone seemed to take control early in the second half behind the strong play of  Fallon as they built their largest lead of the game at the 11:33 mark, 44-40.

The next six minutes saw neither team hold more than a four point lead and the lead change hands three more times before Berks took the lead for good at the 5:53 mark.

Berks turned up the defense over the following five minutes of the game forcing the Giants into six turnovers, while converting four of six free throws in the final minute of play to take the contest.

Courtney Bailey led the way for Berks finishing with 20 points and 9 rebounds.

Keystone will return to action on Saturday at 1pm when they play host to Rosemont in the first game of a doubleheader at 1pm.
