Bates has career night as Keystone drops road contest
Allentown, PA (2-8-10) - Keystone College's Yasmeen Bates had a memorable night as the senior cleaned the glass for a career high 21 rebounds, but it was not enough as the Giants fell at Cedar Crest College 64-55 in CSAC action.

With the victory Cedar Crest improved to 12-9 overall and 6-5 in the CSAC, while Keystone fell to 4-15 and 2-9.

The Falcons jumped out quickly, never allowing the Giants a taste of the lead, as Cedar Crest built a nine-point lead just over three minutes in and controlled the pace of play the remainder of the way.

Keystone drew within three points with 17:31 left in the game when Brianna Borowski converted a layup, but that was as close as the Giants would get the rest of the night as the Falcons regained a double digit advantage just three minutes later.

Allison Horn led a balanced Falcon attack with a 15-point night, as all five Cedar Crest starters hit double digits.

Lizzy Saunderhaus netted 14 points, with Lean Wallower adding 13.  Kelly Oakes recorded a double-double with a 10-point and 15-rebound night, while Lakeema Jones added 10.

Bates pulled in 15 defensive rebounds, also a career high, in leading the Giants.  She also netted a team high 17 points to go with three steals.

Jazmine Harris chipped in with 12 for the Giants.

Keystone will return to action on Thursday at 6pm when they travel to Centenary College.
