Surfside Beach, SC (3-10-10) - Juniata College took both ends of a doubleheader with Keystone, topping the Giants 13-2 and 9-1.

The sweep drops Keystone to 2-5 on their season opening Southern swing.

In the opener Juniata exploded for eight runs in the top of the first and four more in the second to erase any doubt about the outcome.

Keystone managed just three hits, with Loryn Haas (Jersey Shore, PA/Jersey Shore), Katie Butzer (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) and Carissa Iyoob (Jessup, PA/Valley View) all recording singles.  Haas and Kendra Bianchi (Montague, NJ/Port Jervis) scored the Keystone runs, while Butzer drove in one.

In the nightcap Juniata jumped out quickly once again by pushing across three runs in both the first and second innings.  

Meagan Cunningham (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) knocked out two hits, while Haas, Bianchi and Abby Cohen (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) each recorded singles, with Bianchi scoring the lone run.
