La Plume, PA (3-29-10) - The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has announced that Keystone College's
Dane Gavin (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) has been named the Golfer of the Week, while Ray Jackson has been named as the Co-Player of the Week in baseball.

Samantha Hartman (Red Bank, NJ/Red Bank Regional) has been named to the weekly CSAC Honor Roll in softball.
Gavin, a junior from Scranton, PA, and his Keystone teammates competed this past weekend at the two-day McDaniel College Invitational at the Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, PA. Gavin was the top Keystone finisher, carding a two-day total of 161 (82, 79) to finish in a tie for 18th. As a team the Giants carded a score of 661 (336, 325) to finish in a tie for 12th.
Jackson, a senior from Lewes, DE, helped the Giants to a mark of 2-1 last week, as Keystone took their regular season series with Gwynedd-Mercy. Jackson came up big in the rubber game of the three-game weekend series collecting four hits in five at bats, including a home run. The center fielder also knocked in a pair of runs in the game, as Keystone pinned a 13-3 loss on the Griffins. He batted .500 for the week with five hits, which included a pair of doubles.
On the season Jackson is batting .413 (19-46) with 13 runs scored and six RBI. He is also leading the team with six stolen bases.
Hartman, a freshman from Red Bank, NJ, helped lead the Giants to a weekly mark of 3-3, which included a 3-1 record in CSAC play. In a doubleheader sweep of Rosemont College, the catcher turned in a 6-for-9 effort with nine RBI and six runs scored. She also included a home run and a double in her line. The following day she added two more hits and a run scored as the Giants split a twin bill at Marywood.
Hartman is batting .348 (16-46) on the season with 12 runs scored and 11 knocked in.
