Giants set three new program marks in East Stroudsburg event
East Stroudsburg, PA (4-17-10) - Three Keystone records fell on the day as the Giants track and field teams competed at the All-American Invitational at East Stroudsburg University.

On the men’s side of things Mark Cruver was able to knock off a school record tossing the javelin 164-1 in cold and windy conditions. Freshman Gabby Neri broke the mile school record stopping the clock just 0.1 seconds ahead of the previous school record with a time of 5:55.61. The mark also breaks Gabby’s personal record in the mile. 

The women’s 4x100 meter Relay team (Campbell, Drumheller, Faulkner, Miller) was able to erase a five year old school record by bringing the baton around the track in a time of 55.81.

Distance stood out on the track for the Giants as Jenna Fancher was able to do more damage to her 5000 meter personal record dropping her time to 20:9.89.

Dan Toye ran his best in the 800 meters since his freshman year clocking a time of 2:1.53 and Zach Knott dropped 10 seconds off of his 1500 meter time stopping the clock at 4:47.6.

Mike Bolden had a big day on the men’s side of things. He broke two personal records on the day in the 200 and Long Jump. Fellow teammates Cain Pavlak (Long Jump), Zach Knott (1500), and John Whitmoyer (100/ Long Jump) joined in the action of breaking personal records.
