Bloomsburg, PA (4-24-10) -  Ben Austin set the school record in the Hammer Throw tossing with a toss of 70-5.75. Austin also finished 7th place in the Discus with a throw 111-8 at the Bloomsburg University Maroon and Gold Invitational.

Freshman, Donnie Whyte threw the Hammer 66-8.5, which was good enough to earn him the second best throw in school history. Whyte just missed the school record in the Shot Put by 2.75 inches, putting the ball 34-2.25.

The Giants also had a handful of PR’s on the day: Brandon Doughty (Javelin), Mitch Demko (Long Jump), Mike Bolden (High Jump), and Zach Knott (800).
