La Plume, PA (5-5-10) - The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has named three members of the Keystone College softball program to its year end All-CSAC team.
Abby Cohen, Loryn Haas and Carissa Iyoob all received nods as Honorable Mention selections. In addition, Jessica Weingart was named as Keystone's CSAC Sportsmanship Recipient.
Cohen, a freshman from Bethlehem, PA and graduate of Freedom High School, led the Giants in nearly every statistical category, including a team high .465 (47-101) batting average. Cohen scored 35 runs, second best for a season at Keystone, while knocking out 47 hits, which ranks fourth all time. Her 14 doubles put her third best in a season, while her 31 RBI rank her fourth best. Cohen also belted out seven home runs this past season, a new season record which also tied her for the career home run total. She compiled an .851 slugging percentage and a .578 on-base percentage.
Haas, a freshman from Jersey Shore, PA and graduate of Jersey Shore High School, patrolled center field as a solid piece of the Keystone outfield. Haas batted .336 (41-125) on the season, with a fielding percentage of .965. Her 42 hits rank her as the sixth best total in a season at Keystone, with her 31 runs scored ranking fourth. Haas also recorded six doubles and four triples while driving in 19.
Iyoob, a junior from Jessup, PA and graduate of Valley View High School, batted .339 (37-109) on the season, while leading the club in triples with seven. Her triples tally tie her for first all-time in a season at Keystone. Iyoob also took over for the fourth spot for RBI in a season with 31. She knocked out eight doubles and scored 21 runs.
Weingart, a sophomore from Belle Meade, NJ and graduate of Montgomery High School, earned the honor as the team's CSAC Sportsmanship recipient.
