The team of 3 sophomores and a freshman brought the stick around to the finish line in a time of 3 minute 31.38 seconds. 

Mike Bolden a last second replacement on the team led off with a split of 53.5 seconds, while fellow sophomore Maurice Evans chased down the competition running the second leg with a split of 52.3 seconds. Freshman Matt Fabbri clocked the third leg in 52.9 seconds, and Ryan Fegley brought the stick home in split of 52.2. Freshman Donnie Whyte snagged two of the school records for the Giants in Shot Put (36-5) and Hammer Throw (79-9.25), while fellow Wyalusing grad Mark Cruver also took home a school record in the Javelin Throw with a toss of 166-1.

Austin also finished 7th place in the Discus with a throw 111-8 at the Bloomsburg University Maroon and Gold Invitational.

Freshman, Donnie Whyte threw the Hammer 66-8.5, which was good enough to earn him the second best throw in school history. On the men&rsquo;s side of things Mark Cruver was able to knock off a school record tossing the javelin 164-1 in cold and windy conditions. Freshman Gabby Neri broke the mile school record stopping the clock just 0.1 seconds ahead of the previous school record with a time of 5:55.61. Rebecca Drumheller two personal records on the day in the 100 meter Dash and 200 meters.  Along with Drumheller eight other personal records were set on the day: Da&rsquo;Quana Faulkner in the 400, Ericka Miller in the 200, Mitch Demko in the Javelin and High Jump, Matt Fabbri in the 5000, Maurice Evans in the 400 Brian Slater in the 200, and John Whitmoyer in the 200.

Another highlight of the day was Jenna Fancher who won the 5000 meter run in a time of 20:45.12 

Mark Cruver reset his school record in the Javelin with a toss of 160&rsquo;, while the 4x100 meter relay team  (Joe Stauder, Ryan Fegley, Trevor Young, Brian Slater) set the program record by clocking a time of 44.29 seconds.

The Giants mixed it up with the strongest competition they will see this season, as 17 Division I programs took part in the meet.

In the Triple Jump Mike Bolden place third, competing in the event for the first time. His jump of 12.37 meters (40&rsquo; 7&rdquo;) was also good enough to rank him third on the Keystone College all time top 10 list.

Fellow jumper Mitch Demko soared to new heights, jumping a personal record of 1.77 meters (5-10) to place fifth. 

Other scorers on the day included: Men&rsquo;s 4x800 meter relay 3rd place, Women&rsquo;s Distance Medley Relay 4th place, Travis Calvert 6th place (55 meter Hurdles), Women&rsquo;s 4x400 meter Relay 6th place, and Men&rsquo;s 4x200 meter Relay 7th place. ]]></description><pubDate>Sat, 20 Feb 2010 00:00:00 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Women's relay teams highlight Keystone indoor track results </title><link>http://www.gokcgiants.com/news/2010/2/14/MTRACK_0214105951.aspx</link><category>Men's Track and Field, Women's Track and Field</category><description><![CDATA[Selinsgrove, PA (2-13-10) - The Keystone women's relay teams were the highlight of the day, as the quartet set a new program mark in both the 4 x 200 and  just missed a new standard in the 4 x 400.  On the men's side the 4 x 400 team also placed their stamp with a new program mark.

Brian Slater made a huge impact on the men&rsquo;s sides,  anchoring the school record breaking 4 x 400 Relay team, he also posted marks in the 55 meter Dash (6.93 seconds) and 200 meters (23.95 seconds) which both rank as the 2nd best mark in school history.

The day was also stacked with many personal records.  PR&rsquo;s were set by: John Whitmoyer (LJ), Ericka Miller (55/200), Gabby Neri (400), Brian Slater (55/200), Maurice Evans (400), and Eric Shotto (800). ]]></description><pubDate>Sun, 14 Feb 2010 00:00:00 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
