Gwynedd drops Giants 3-0

Gwynedd Valley, PA (10-1-08) - Gwynedd Mercy scored three second half goals en route to a 3-0 victory over Keystone in women's soccer action.

With the victory Gwynedd Mercy improves to 4-6 and 3-0 in the CSAC, while Keystone fell to 1-7 and 0-3 in conference play.

Gwynedd Mercy dominated play as the Griffins recorded 41 shots on the afternoon, while Keystone was held without a single shot.

After a scoreless first half Gwynedd Mercy finally got on the board at 58:49 when Kirstyn Varas connected.  The Griffins would goals at the 64:32 mark and again at 80:38 to provide the final outcome. 

The Giants' Kelsey Kuhns (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) stopped 15 shots in goal.

Keystone returns to action on Saturday October 4 at 1pm when they play host to Neumann College.
