Giants record first conference win

Clarks Summit, PA (10-14-08) - Scott Bensinger (Hegins, PA/Tri-Valley) scored two goals as Keystone College recorded its first conference win of the season as the Giants downed Baptist Bible College 3-2.

With the victory Keystone moves to 2-8-1 and 1-2, while BBC falls to 2-12 and 0-5.

Bensinger scored twice in a span of three minutes of the first half, both times going one on one with the BBC keeper for the goal.  Bensinger's goals came at 25:31 and 28:54 in the first.

Baptist Bible would even the score with a first half goal (32:46) and an early second half goal (45:57).  Jamie Ellis (Shanklin, Isle of Wight England/Sandown) would eventually break the stalemate with a shot to the upper right corner of the net to give Keystone the victory.

Ryan Wagner (Hegins, PA/Tri-Valley) stopped eight shots in goal for Keystone.

The Giants will return to action on Saturday October 18 at 1pm when they travel to Philadelphia Biblical University.
