Defenders down Giants 3-1

Clarks Summit, PA (10-21-08) - Baptist Bible scored two goals with under ten minutes to play to top Keystone 3-1 in CSAC women's soccer action.

With the victory Baptist Bible moves to 13-2 overall and 7-2 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 2-11 and 1-7.

The Defenders and Giants were knotted at one after a pair of first half goals.  The score remained deadlocked until the 80th minute when BBC finally was able to get back on top. 

Erin Law got the Defenders on the board quickly connecting just 1:27 into the match.  Keystone answered back at 37:52 when Kira Rubin (Whitefish Bay, WI/Whitefish bay) lofted a shot over a drawn out keeper.

BBC would add goals at 80:46 and 88:02 to put the game away.

Keystone keeper Kelsey Kuhns (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) recorded 31 saves in goal as the Defenders held a 53-3 advantage in shots. 

The Giants return to action on Saturday October 25 at 4pm when they travel to Cabrini College.
