Marino carries Giants to third straight win

Scranton, PA (10-4-08) - Lori-Ann Marino recorded goals in each half as Keystone downed College of

Notre Dame 2-0 in CSAC field hockey action.

With the victory Keystone moves to 6-4 and in 3-1 in the conference, while Notre Dame falls to 1-5 and 0-1.

Marino netted her first goal at 28:51 to give the Giants a 1-0 lead at the break.  She added her second goal of the day at 51:35 to provide the final tally.

The victory was the third in a row for the Giants.  With the shutout Keystone has held their opponents without a goal for the last 254:28. 

The Giants return to action on Wednesday October 8 at 6:30pm when they travel to Cabrini.
