Cabrini ends Giants scoreless, win streak

Radnor, PA (10-8-08) - Cabrini College ended Keystone's win streak as well as their scoreless streak as they topped the Giants 4-2 in CSAC field hockey action.

With the victory Cabrini moves to 9-4 overall, while remaining perfect in conference play at 4-0.  Keystone falls to 6-5 and 3-2 in the CSAC.

The loss snapped a three game wining streak for Keystone and their scoreless streak at 262:37 when Cabrini socred at the 8:09 mark for the game's first goal.

Cabrini jumped out to a 4-0 advantage after the first 41 minutes before the Giants managed to get on the board.  Brackney Brotzman put Keystone on the board off an assist from Kellie Sussman at 47:16.  The Giants added their second score at 66:20 when Kellina Yarrish scored an unassisted goal.

The team returns to action on Saturday at 1:30pm when they play host to Rosemont College.  The match will be played at the Riverfront Sports complex in Scranton.
