Keystone easily downs Paul Smith 87-44

Potsdam, NY (11-22-08) - The Keystone College men's basketball team came out of the gates quickly and never let up as the Giants downed Paul Smith College 87-44 in the consolation game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at Potsdam.

With the victory the Giants move to 2-1 on the season.

The Giants built a 23-point lead by the half, while limiting Paul Smith to just 15 first half points.

Ryne Luce (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) paced Keystone with 16 points, including 12 coming via the three-point shot.  On the day the Giants canned 10 three's, shooting 42% from beyond the arch.

Spencer Lunger (Lake Winola, PA/Tunkhannock) added 11 points and Kevin Laurence 10 to round out the double digit scorers for Keystone, as the team placed 13 different players in the scoring column.

The team will return to action on Tuesday November 25 when they travel to Rutgers-Camden as part of their five game road trip to open the season.
