Yarrish's goal lifts Giants to field hockey win

Aurora, NY (9-10-08) - Kellina Yarrish's overtime goal lifted Keystone College to a 2-1 victory over Wells College in non-conference field hockey action.

The victory moves Keystone to 2-1 on the season, as both of the Giants victories have come in overtime.

Kellie Sussman assisted on Yarrish's game winner in the 83rd minute. 

After a scoreless first half Brackney Brotzman got Keystone on the board at 48:03 with the game's first score.  Yarrish assisted on the goal.  Wells knotted things at one at 60:05 to eventually force overtime.

Breanna Auld recorded three saves in goal for Keystone as the Giants held a 26-8 advantage in shots.

Keystone returns to action this weekend when they travel to the Wilson College tournament.  The Giants will battle the host school on Saturday at 11am and then return to action on Sunday at either 10am or 1pm against Sweet Brier or Rosemont.
