Morgan lifts Giants to field hockey win

Scranton, PA (9-27-08) - Samantha Morgan's goal with 3:42 remaining in the game was all the offense Keystone would need as the Giants downed Immaculata 1-0 in CSAC field hockey action.

With the victory Keystone evens its mark at 4-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play, while Immaculata falls to 2-5 and 0-2.

Morgan was able to convert the goal after a mad scramble in front of the net as both teams sought to gain possession.  Keystone's Breanna Auld recorded five saves in net.

The Giants return to action Tuesday September 30 at 4pm when they travel to Cedar Crest.
