Albright records field hockey shutout

Reading, PA (9-3-08) - Albright College saw three different players record goals and then relied on the goal-keeping of Kaitlyn Johnstone to top Keystone College 3-0 in non-conference field hockey action.

Albright improved to 1-1 on the year, while Keystone fell to 1-1.

Caitlin Feldman scored her team's first goal of the game at 20:01 off an assist from Julianne Sahina for a 1-0 lead at the half.

Lindsay Neal opened the second half by connecting off a penalty corner just 1:06 into play to build the lead to 2-0.  Beth Moran and Michele Pomante assisted on the play.  Gia Boscola rounded out the Albright scoring at 62:02 on an unassisted goal.

Breanna Auld stopped eight shots in goal for Keystone, while Johnstone made nine saves.

Keystone will return to action on Wednesday September 10 when they travel to Wells College for a 4:30pm match.
