Women's soccer suffers second straight shutout
La Plume, PA (9-9-08) - The Keystone College women's soccer team suffered their second straight loss to open the season, losing 3-0 to Lancaster Bible College.
With the victory the Chargers move to 3-2 on the year, while the Giants begin their campaign at 0-2.
Lancaster Bible scored all three of their goals in the first half, including twice in a three minute span midway through the half. Becka Hixon scored twice to pace the Chargers, while Kristina Clairmont added the other score.
The Giants' Kelsey Kuhns (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) stopped 13 shots in goal, as Lancaster Bible held a 23-3 advantage in shots.
Keystone returns to action on Saturday September 13 at 3:00pm when they play host to Potsdam in a non-conference match.
