Gwynedd Valley, PA (1-29-09) - Gwynedd-Mercy raced out to a 21-point halftime lead and never looked back as the Griffins pinned a 79-50 loss on Keystone in CSAC action.

With the victory the Griffins moved to 13-4 overall and 7-1 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 9-8 and 4-5.

Gwynedd-Mercy came out of the gates quickly scoring the first 14 points of the contest.  The Giants did not get on the board until the 14:03 mark if the first half when Ellen Fallon connected on a three-pointer.

Keystone managed to hit just eight shots in the first half as the Griffins opened up their large lead.  The second half provided much of the same as Gwynedd-mercy extended their advantage.

Yasmeen Bates led Keystone with a game high 17 points to along with 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the year.  Fallon chipped in with 14 for the Giants.  Fallon also recorded team high in assists with five and steals with three.

Kristy Cramp led the Griffins with 15 points, while Lauren Rosar added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Griffins controlled the boards as they out-rebounded the Giants by a 52-32 margin, while also forcing 19 Keystone turnovers.  

Keystone will return to action on Monday February 2 at 6pm when they play host to Neumann College.
