Mighty Macs down Giants in women's soccer play

Immaculata, PA (10-14-09) - Immaculata University recorded 33 shots and made good use of its scoring chances, as the Mighty Macs downed Keystone College 3-0 in women's soccer action.

With the win Immaculata moves to 6-5-3 overall and 3-2-1 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 0-11 and 0-7.

Immaculata got on the board early when Bridget Cunningham scored just 3:32 into the match.  However, Keystone keeper Kelsey Kuhns (Walnutport, PA/Northampton), who stopped 13 shots on the night, kept the Mighty Macs at bay allowing just one first half goal.

Immaculata added their second goal of the game just over three minutes into the second half when Zena Tracey connected.  Immaculata closed out its scoring at 77:59 when Megan Gallagher found the back of the goal.

The Giants return to action on Saturday when they play host to College of Notre Dame at 1pm as part of Keystone's homecoming weekend.
