Utica, NY (11-20-09) – Despite a game high 25 points from Ellen Fallon (Scranton, PA/Scranton), Keystone College dropped its season opener to SUNY-IT 72-57 at the Utica College Tip Off Tournament. 

The Giants will play in the consolation game on Saturday at 1pm. 

Fallon hit on 9-19 from the floor, including four times from beyond the arc, but it was not enough as SUNY-IT pulled away in the second half. 

Fallon actually scored her team's first 11 points of the game as Keystone trailed at the half by just six. 

Sarah Barreto (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater Raritan) was the only other Keystone player in double digits with 10. Yasmeen Bates (Tobyhanna, PA/Pocono Mountain West) pulled in a game high 12 rebounds while adding nine points. Melinda Moore (Norwich, NY/Norwich) added seven rebounds.
