Shotto, Berg, Fancher highlight CSAC'S for Keystone

Immaculata, PA (11-7-09) - Eric Shotto (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) finished seventh and Chris Berg eight to lead the Keystone College men to a third place finish at the CSAC Cross Country Championships.  Jenna Fancher (Kingsley, PA/Mountain View) finished 13th to lead the Keystone women to a sixth place finish.

Following the race Shotto was named First Team All-Conference in the CSAC, while Berge and Fancher earned Second Team nods.  Shotto and Renee Crane (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne) were named as Keystone's CSAC Sportsmanship Award Recipients.

Keystone men's results:  Eric Shotto (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) – 29:24 – 7th place; Chris Berg – 29:28 – 8th place; Tad Koneski – 30:09 – 15th place; Dan Toye (Tunkhannock, PA/Tunkhannock) – 30:21 – 16th place; Geoff Noonan – 31:42 – 24th place; Eric Hinkel – 32:12 – 30th place; Cain Pavlak (Greeley, PA/Wallenpaupack) – 33:02 – 34th place; Dan West (Hopatcong, NJ/Hopatcong) – 33:03 – 35th place; Zach Knott – 33:05 – 37th place; Matt Fabbri – 35:01 – 47th place; John Grzenda (Scranton, PA/Scranton) – 35:15 – 50th place.

Keystone women's results:  Jenna Fancher (Kingsley, PA/Mountain View) – 21:39 – 13th place; Gabby Neri – 22:58 – 25th place; Renee Crane (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne) – 23:14 – 29th place; Jill Drost (Tacoma, WA/Clarksville (TN)) – 26:33 – 50th place; Caylin Baker – 28:41 – 61st place; Mary Praschak (Old Forge, PA/Old Forge) – 30:04 – 62nd place.

Men's standings: Gwynedd Mercy College – 20; Marywood University – 58; Keystone College – 68; Baptist Bible College – 138; Cabrini College – 164; Philadelphia Biblical University – 177; Neumann University – 182; Centenary College – 194; Immaculata University – 233.
