La Plume, PA (4-11-09) - Keystone College knocked out 29 hits on the day as they took both ends of its doubleheader with College of Notre Dame, 8-0 and 20-0
With the sweep Keystone moves to 7-15 and 6-6 in the CSAC, while College of Notre Dame fell to 0-10 and 0-8.
In the opener the Giants banged out 10 hits while also taking advantage of four Gator errors.
Meagan Cunningham (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) struck out a career high 14 in earning the win, as the junior allowed only two hits. At the plate Cunningham also doubled and drove in two.
Heather Trudgeon (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown) doubled as part of a three hit game with an RBI, while Sabrina Johnson knocked out two hits.
Megan Thomas (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) added a triple. Keystone swiped seven bases in the contest, with
Katie Butzer (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) and Thomas each recording two.
In the nightcap the Giants knocked out 19 hits on their way to a 20-run outing.
Leah Simko (South Gibson, PA/Mountain View), Thomas and Cunningham all collected three hits each, with Cunningham driving in three and scoring three times.
Simko tripled as part of her three hit game, while scoring twice and driving in two. Thomas doubled and scored twice with two RBI's.

Kim Kwitoski (Montrose, PA/Montrose),
Lori-Ann Marino (Hawley, PA/Wallenpaupack) and Butzer all collected two hits each , with Kwitoski knocking in three and Butzer two. Cunningham once again earned the win.
The Giants will return to action on Monday April 13 at 3pm when they play host to Cazenovia in a non-conference twin-bill.
