La Plume, PA (4-13-09) - Keystone College took game one of its doubleheader with Cazenovia College by a 3-1 score to earn a split in their non-conference double dip.  The Wildcats rebounded to take game two 14-7.

With the split Keystone moves to 8-16 with Cazenovia moving 5-10.

In the opener Meagan Cunningham (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) went the distance allowing one run on seven hits and striking out five.

A three run third was all the offense the Giants would need.  Leah Simko (South Gibson, PA/Mountain View) singled in two and Katie Butzer (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) added a run scoring single as the Giants made the most out of their four hits in game one.

In the nightcap the Giants out-hit the Wildcats, but Cazenovia took advantage of eight base-on-balls and three Keystone errors to double up the Giants.

Megan Thomas (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) tripled as part of her three hit day for the Giants, while also knocking in three.  Butzer and Kelly Iovieno (New York, NY/Professional Performing Arts) were also two-time hitters for Keystone, as Butzer drove in a pair.

The Giants jump back into action on Tuesday when they play host to Marywood at 3pm in a CSAC doubleheader.
