Scott Bensinger (Hegins, PA/Tri-Valley) turned in a career day, recording two goals and assisting on two others, as Keystone College downed Penn State Berks 5-2 in non-conference men's soccer action.
With the win Keystone moves to 3-5 overall, while Penn State falls to 1-6.
Keystone jumped out first by utilizing the duo of
Jamie Ellis (Shanklin, Isle of Wight England/Sandown) and
Alex Boirand (Shanklin, Isle of Wight England/Sandown) to get on the board. Ellis connected first at 12:15, while Boirand followed at 25:40 to give the Giants a 2-0 advantage. Bensinger assisted on both goals.
Penn State cut the Keystone lead to 2-1 at 38:25 when Mike Zopfi recorded an unassisted goal.
The Lions came out roaring in the second half, knotting things at two just 3:27 into the second half when Declan McNicholl found the back of the net.
Twelve seconds later Bensinger took control to give Keystone the lead back for good at 3-2. Bensinger would another goal at 70:29 to round out his great day.
Ellis capped off the scoring at 86:27 scoring on an unassisted goal.

Ryan Gilroy (Dallas, PA/Dallas) stopped 10 shots in goal, as the Gianst held a 21-20 advantage in shots.
The Giants will return to the field on September 29 when they play host to King's at 4pm.
