Baltimore, MD (9-26-09) - Keystone College opened up CSAC field hockey play with a 2-0 victory over College of Notre Dame.

The victory, Keystone's third straight, lifts the Giants to 6-2 overall and 1-0, while College of Notre Dame falls to 1-6 and 0-1.  

The Giants used a goal in each half to account for their winning margin.  Brackney Brotzman (Brackney, PA/Montrose) scored Keystone's first goal at 29:15, while Hope Krolewski (Bear Creek, PA/Holy Redeemer ) added the second at 67:25.  

Brotzman raised her season goal total to four, while Krolewski recorded her first score of the season.

Katie Butzer (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) assisted on both Keystone goals, her first two assists of the year.

Keystone out-shot the Gators by a 12-1 margin and held a 14-0 advantage in corners.
