La Plume, PA (9-26-09) - Gwen Conte recorded a trick and assisted on a fourth goal as Gwynedd-Mercy College blanked Keystone 7-0 in CSAC women' soccer action.

With the victory Gwynedd-Mercy moves to 4-5 overall and 2-0 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Conte wasted little time in getting the Gwynedd-Mercy scoring going, as she scored on a header just twenty seconds into the game.  Kasey Reid added the Griffins second goal at the four minute mark, before Conte connected again at 18:39 to give Gwynedd a 3-0 lead at the break.

The Griffins would score four more times in the second half as they tallied 47 shots for the match.  Conte capped off her hat trick at 65:18, the game's final goal.

Kelsey Kuhns (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) recorded 13 saves and Seleta Oakley (Nicholson, PA/Mountain View) four in goal for Keystone.

The Giants will return to action on Wednesday at 4pm when they travel to Centenary College.
