La Plume, PA (9-4-09) - Keystone College out shot Bryn Mawr College by a 39-0 advantage as the Giants rolled to a 7-0 victory in non-conference field hockey action.

With the win Keystone improves to 1-1 while Bryn Mawr falls to 0-2.

The Giants scored four times in the first half, with their opening goal coming from Nicole Macedonio (Factoryville, PA/Lackawanna Trail) on a penalty kick at 22:02.

Katie  Butzer added the day's second goal (25:33) off an assists from Hope Kriewski.  Keystone extended the lead to 3-0  when Kelsey Drozda (Wilkes-Barre, PA/G.A.R. Memorial) connected at 27:12, while Kellia Yarrish built the lead advantage to 4-0 just before the half.

The second half provided much of the same as Brackney Brotzman (Brackney, PA/Montrose) scored just three minutes in off a Kelly Iovieno (New York, NY/Professional Performing Arts) assist.  Brotzman found the net again just a minute later, this time with Whitney Hubshman (Clarks Summit, PA/Lackawanna Trail) adding the assist.

Yarrish rounded out the scoring with ten minutes to play with Hubshman once again providing the assist.

The Giants return to action on Thursday at 4pm when they host Albright College.
