Keystone drops third straight with loss to Falcons

La Plume, PA (1-16-10) - Cedar Crest College raced out to a 16-point halftime lead and were never threatened the remainder of the way as the Falcons downed Keystone College 74-61 in CSAC women's basketball action.

With the victory Cedar Crest moves to 8-5 overall and 2-2 in the CSAC, while Keystone, which dropped its third straight game, falls to 3-9 and 1-4 in conference action.

The Falcons jumped out to a double digit lead just over six minutes into the game, as they held Keystone to just eight points over the first ten minutes of play.  Keystone was able to cut the lead to single digits just once from that point as the Falcons maintained their double digit advantage.

Allison Horn netted a game high 22 points, with 12 of her points coming via the three, to lead four Cedar Crest players in double figures.  

Leann Wallower scored 19 points on 7-10 shooting, with Kelly Oakes adding 11 and Lakeema Jones 10.  

Ellen Fallon (Scranton, PA/Scranton) paced the Giants with 14 points to go along with three assists, three rebounds and three steals.  Melinda Moore (Norwich, NY/Norwich) recorded her second double-double of the year with a 12-point and 12-rebound afternoon.  Yasmeen bates also added 12 points.
