La Plume, PA (10-13-10) - Despite starting the match by winning two of three doubles matches, Keystone dropped all six singles matches in falling to Baptist Bible College 7-2 in CSAC women's tennis action.
With the victory Baptist Bible moves to 7-7 overall and 6-4 in the CSAC, while Keystone ends its season at 2-10 and 2-8.
The Keystone doubles teams of
Shiloh Richner (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) and
Julia Sherry (Tunkhannock, PA/Tunkhannock) started things at number one doubles with an 8-6 victory and was followed by an 8-2 win by
Heather Godino (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) and
Delanie Schaepe (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) at number two doubles.
However, the Giants could not keep the hot play going into the singles portion.
