Radnor, PA (10-9-10) - Cabrini College broke a one all tie by scoring two second half goals, as the Cavaliers handed Keystone College its first conference field hockey loss since the 2008 season with a 3-1 victory.
With the victory Cabrini moves to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 5-6 and 3-1.
The Cavaliers scored the only goal of the first half on an unassisted goal by Lauren Alessi.
The Giants knotted things at one at 52:27 when Brackney Brotzman (Brackney, PA/Montrose) sent home a goal. However, the Cavaliers responded less than five minutes later when Taylor McGarvey scored on a corner at 55:22 off an assist from Shannon Mulhern and Mayra Gordon.
Cabrini closed out the scoring at 64:54 when Mulhern iced the contest off a Courtney Davis assist.
The Cavaliers outshot the Giants 20-4, as Melinda Moore (Norwich, NY/Norwich) recorded nine saves in goal for Keystone.
Keystone returns to action on Wednesday at 4pm when they travel to Marywood University.
