La Plume, PA (4-13-10) - Montclair State University knocked out 12 hits in overcoming an early deficit, as the Redhawks doubled up the Giants 10-5 in non-conference baseball action.
With the victory Montclair moved to 14-7 on the year, while Keystone saw its 10-game winning streak snapped in falling to 17-6.
Ray Jackson led the Giants with three of the team's 10 hits, while Angel Fargas added a pair of hits, including a home run.
Matt Moreno led the Redhawks with a three hit afternoon, while Michael Ercolano added a home run.
Keystone was first on the board, scoring twice in the fourth on an RBI ground out by Yazy Arbello and a bunt single by Kory Leicht.
Montclair State responded in the top of the fifth with two of their own. However, Fargas' homer to left center in the bottom of the inning gave the Giants back the advantage one last time.
The Redhawks responded with six runs between the sixth and seventh innings to take control. The Giants attempted to draw closer, but could only muster single runs in the eight and ninth.
Sean Brewer worked six innings in absorbing the loss. Brewer allowed three earned, while striking out five.
The Giants will not return to action until Wednesday April 21 at 4pm when they host Cortland State.
