Volleyball evens season mark

Phoenixville, PA (9-14-10) - The Keystone College volleyball team captured its fourth straight match, as the Giants took a road contest at Valley Forge Christian, 3-0.

With the victory Keystone moves to 4-4 on the season, while Valley Forge falls to 1-9.

The Giants made quick work of their host taking the match by scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.

Kendra Bianchi (Montague, NJ/Port Jervis) recorded a team high 19 digs, with Danielle Cedeno (Newark, DE/Christiana) adding seven and Maggie Emmons (West Grove, PA/Avon Grove) six.  

Victoria Nichols (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) picked up six kills, with Emmons adding five.  Emmons and Shelby Morgan (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) each recorded three aces, while Leah Simko (South Gibson, PA/Mountain View) stepped up big once again, picking up 25 of the team's 29 assists.

The team will compete in a pair of tri-matches this weekend, traveling to York  College(NY) on Friday and St. Joseph's (NY) on Saturday.
