Scranton, PA (9-22-10) - Katie Darling accounted for the only goal of the match as Keystone College tripped up Neumann University 1-0 in the conference field hockey opener for both squads.

With the victory the Giants moved to 3-4 overall and 1-0 in the CSAC, while Neumann remained winless at 0-9 and 0-1.

Darling struck home a first half goal at 25:38 to provide all the offense that the Giants would need.  Megan Fry picked up the assist.

In what was a defensive struggle, the Giants outshot the Knights 7-3 on the afternoon.

The Giants will return to action on Saturday at 3pm when they travel to College of Notre Dame.
