La Plume, PA (9-23-10) - Albright College converted three first half goals in a span of 21 minutes, as the Lions pinned a 4-1 loss on Keystone College in non-conference women's soccer action.
With the victory Albright moves 3-2-2 on the year, while Keystone falls to 2-4.
Albright put a pair of goals on the board in a span of 51 seconds as Meg Albright took a Kim Harkins corner kick and scored the Lions first goal at 9:16. Alex Talbot followed with a score at 10:07 for a quick 2-0 lead.
A penalty kick by Mel Sullivan at 27:41 gave the Lions a 3-0 advantage as the teams headed into the half.
Keystone cut into the lead at 53:36 when Samantha Littleford (Nanticoke, PA/Greater Nanticoke Area) lofted a shot over the keeper, as the Giants drew within 3-1. Albright iced things 25 minutes later on a Jordan Cassidy score.
Keystone keeper Samantha Finch (Morris, CT/Wamogo Regional) recorded 10 saves in net.
The Giants will return to action on Saturday at 3pm when they travel to College of Notre Dame for a CSAC match.
