La Plume, PA (9-29-10) - Christine Michalski netted two goals, including the eventual game winner, as Gwynedd-Mercy College downed Keystone College 3-1 in women's soccer action.

With the victory Gwynedd-Mercy moves to 4-5-1 overall and 2-1 in the CSAC, while Keystone falls to 2-5-1 and 0-2-1.

The Griffins got on the board first on an Olivia O'Neill goal at the 20:25 mark with Michalski and Kasey Reid assisting.

The Giants responded nearly 13 minutes later when Samantha Littleford (Nanticoke, PA/Greater Nanticoke Area) took a pass from Sara Cortazor (Carbondale, PA/Mid Valley) pass to knot things at one.

Michalski put the Griffins back in front to stay just before the half at 42:16.  Michalski iced things at 69:03 when she converted her second goal of the game.

Keystone keeper Samantha Finch (Morris, CT/Wamogo Regional) recorded 13 saves in goal.

The Giants will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia Biblical University for a noon match.
