Baseball picks up non-conference win

York, PA (4-21-11) - Jeff Frost worked six innings, striking out four and the Giants knocked out 10 hits as Keystone upended York (PA) College 8-2 in non-conference baseball action.

With the win the Giants move to 18-9, while York falls to 9-21.

Frost moved his season mark to 5-3, while lowering his ERA to 2.70.  Jeremy Beeching and Derek Alex combined to pitch three no-hit innings to close things out.

Esteban Meletiche tripled as part of a two hit game.  Gabe Torres and Edwin Padua also added two hit games for Keystone.  Andy Vega scored three times.  Roberto Santana also added a double in the winning effort.

The Giants, who trailed 2-1 after five innings, scored in each of the last four innings to pull away with the win.

Keystone will return to action tomorrow at noon when they host Stevenson University in doubleheader action.
