Aston, PA – Keystone College won a pair of key Colonial States Athletic Conference baseball games on Saturday afternoon at Neumann University, claiming the opener 4-1 before earning a 5-1 decision in the nightcap as the Giants completed a three-game regular season sweep of the Knights.  Keystone, currently ranked 12th in the country, improves to 19-6 on the season with their fourth straight win and 8-1 in conference play while Neumann falls to 14-7 this spring and 4-3 in the CSAC.

Keystone took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning of Saturday's first game.  Kevin Catherina (Ridgefield, NJ/St. Mary (Rutherford)) hit a leadoff infield singe and stole second before advancing to third on a sacrifice bunt by Rick McLaughlin (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert)Tyler Gurman (Bronx, NY/Lehman) stepped up to the plate with two outs in the inning and delivered and RBI single to right field to bring home the game's first run.

The Giants put together another two-out rally in the visitor's second to take a 4-0 lead.  Cory Shaver (Port St. Lucie, FL/Treasure Coast) reached base on an error by the Knights and Catherina was hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second with two down.  McLaughlin followed with a base hit to right that scored Shaver and Chris Bzozowski (Westampton, NJ/Bishop Eustace) then doubled down the left field line to bring home both Catherina and McLaughlin.

Keystone continued to ride another outstanding start by Rob Rogers (Islip, NY/Islip), who yielded just one hit – a first inning single – heading into the seventh inning.  Down to the last at bats, Neumann loaded the bases with a pair of singles followed by a walk before getting an infield hit to plate their first run of the game.  With the game-winning run at the plate, Rogers got a 1-2-3 double play and closed out the game with a strikeout to improve to 4-2 on the season.

Rogers finished the day by scattering four hits in the complete game win while walking three and striking out four.

Bzozowski and Gurman had two hits apiece to lead the Giants' offense with Bzozowki collecting a pair of RBIs and Gurman and McLaughlin driving in Keystone's other two runs.

In Saturday's second game, Keystone took a 2-0 lead in the top half of the third inning.  McLaughlin led off with an infield single and moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by Miquel Castano (Miami, FL/Miami Springs) before scoring on Domenick Montanaro (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township) double to left field.  Montanaro the score the visitor's second run on an RBI single by Catherina.
