Keystone Selected to Play in NCAA Regionals at PNC Field

Keystone's baseball team will play in the NCAA Regionals at PNC Field in Moosic, PA beginning on Wednesday night.

Winner of eight-team bracket will advance to NCAA Division III World Series

Indianapolis, IN – Keystone College's baseball team will play in the NCAA Regionals this week at PNC Field in Moosic, PA later this week as the NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has announced the 56 teams that will compete in the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.  The winner of the eight-team regional bracket hosted by Misericordia University will earn a trip to the NCAA Division III College World Series in Appleton, Wisconsin, May 24-28.  The Giants, seeded second in the bracket, will open the tournament against Franklin and Marshall College at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday night.
 
Keystone, who earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by winning their fifth-consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference championship last Sunday, is paired in the bracket listed below.


  1.  Kean University
  2. Keystone College
  3. Misericordia University
  4. Alvernia University
  5. Johns Hopkins University
  6. Ramapo College
  7. Franklin and Marshall College
  8. Penn State-Harrisburg


The double-elimination regional tournament will run from Wednesday, May 15 – Sunday, May 19.  The regional winners will qualify for the double-elimination championship at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin, May 24-28.

General admission is $8 daily for adults and $4 for seniors and students.
