The Keystone College women's basketball team will meet Cairn University in a pivotal Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match-up Saturday, January 20, in Langhorne, Pa., beginning at 1:00 p.m.
With only nine conference games remaining, the Giants finds themselves two games behind Centenary University and two and a half games back of Rosemont College for the final two play-off spots.
Freshman guard
Bre Moore (Charleston, W.Va./Pennwood) continues to put up impressive numbers for Keystone, scoring in double figures in three straight and five of her last six games. She is averaging 15.3 points in her last three outings and has shot better than 45 percent from the field in two of them. Sophomore center
Maddy Moro (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) has also been a key contributor for the Giants lately, averaging 10.2 points and 9.8 points in her last five games.   Â
Cairn, now 5-9 overall and 1-6 in the CSAC, relies on junior guard
Kendra Stum and sophomore forward
Victoria Stum for much of its production on offense. Kendra averages a team-leading 11.5 points and 5.4 rebounds a game while Victoria contributes 9.7 points and 6.9 rebounds each time out.
The Giants will stay on the road after Saturday's game and take on Gwynedd-Mercy in Gwynedd Valley, Pa., Monday, January 22, in CSAC action starting at 7:00 p.m.
