The Keystone College women's basketball team will open a two-game non-conference road trip this Saturday, January 27, against the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pa., beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) led the Giants with 16 points and 12 rebounds—her second double-double of the season—and freshman guard
Bre Moore (Charleston, W.Va./Pennwood) came off the bench and contributed 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Maddy Moro (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) missed Wednesday's game against Marywood University due to illness. In her previous two games, she has pulled down 43 rebounds and blocked eight shots. Her 23-rebound effort last Saturday against Cairn University in Langhorne, Pa is tied for the eighth-most in a game in Giant women's basketball history.

Nina Hodanich (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton) has made 10 3-pointers in her last three games, including six against Cairn University on January 20. She leads the Giants with 17, followed by freshman guard
Autum Kitajima (Williamsport, Pa./Wellsboro Area) with 13.

Bre Moore (Charleston, W.Va./Pennwood) has scored in double-figures in 11 of 16 games, including in four of her last five outings. Her season-high is a 26-point outburst against Medgar Evers in the consolation game of the Max Ziel tournament in Oswego, New York, on November 18. She opened the season with 20 points in a 73-63 loss to Morrisville St. on November 15 at the Gambal Athletic Center in La Plume, Pa.
Patriot notes: Valley Forge had a two-game winning streak snapped at home Thursday evening when they fell to Penn State-Brandywine, 77-65, which dropped their overall record to 6-7. Junior forward Jhanel Brown led Valley Forge with 21 points and 19 rebounds and sophomore guard Natalie Cortes came close to registering a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.
Brown leads the Patriots in scoring (17.9) and rebounding (12.8) while 5-0 senior guard Bailey Mayforth contributes 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds a game.Â
Next up: After Saturday's game at Valley Forge, Keystone will take on Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, on Monday, January 29, beginning at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, Keystone returns home to host Clarks Summit University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action in the Gambal Athletic Center beginning at 6:00 p.m.
