The Keystone College women's basketball team has an opportunity to sweep the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) series with Clarks Summit University this Wednesday, January 31, when the teams meet at the Gambal Athletic Center in La Plume. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
In the first meeting, on November 29, in Clarks Summit, the Giants jumped out to a 29-17 halftime lead en route to a 70-51 victory. Sophomore center
Maddy Moro (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) recorded a 'double-double' with 10 points and 10 rebounds and freshman guard

Senior guard Natalie Tuffy led the Defenders with 15 points and seven rebounds and junior guard Torri Erdman contributed 13 points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals.
Clarks Summit notes: It's been a rocky year for the Defenders, losing 15 straight games before defeating Cedar Crest, 65-57, at home on January 20…three of their losses, however, have been by seven-or-fewer points: to Bryn Athyn at home on Nov. 30, 50-45 in overtime, at Cedar Crest, 61-54, on Dec. 2, and to Penn State-Abington, 69-65, on Jan. 2 at home…junior guard Torri Erdman, freshman point-guard Randie Traxler, and freshman center Hannah Scarborough have started all 19 games, with Traxler averaging 40 minutes per game; senior point-guard Natalie Tuffy has played one less game than Erdman, Traxler and Scarborough, but she has started every game she's played…Erdman is the Defenders' top scorer, averaging nearly 19 points per game to go along with 7.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Keystone notes (team): After playing four of their last five games on the road, the Giants return home to open a two-game home stand Wednesday. It concludes Saturday, February 3, as Keystone hosts Gwynedd-Mercy beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Gambal Athletic Center…Giants' 75-point effort in Saturday's loss at Valley Forge was its second highest output of the season; Keystone scored a season-high 78 points against Medgar Evers in the consolation game of the Max Ziel tournament in Oswego, New York, on November 18…Keystone is four games behind Centenary for third-place in the South division of the CSAC standings.
