Women’s Volleyball Drops 3-1 Decision to Wilkes

La PLUME, Pa. - Oct. 8, 2018 - Senior Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) and sophomore Erika Schwoyer (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) both floored 10 kills each but the Keystone College women's volleyball team fell to visiting Wilkes 3-1 (18-25, 26-24, 18-25, 22-25) on Monday night.

With the loss, the Giants move to 6-12 and will travel to Moravian on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 pm before heading to Bryn Athyn in a CSAC contest on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 1 pm. The Lady Colonels improve to 16-8 on the year.

Senior Victoria Homfeld (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) followed with nine kills, 15 digs, three blocks and two aces while senior Taylor Beatty (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) contributed eight kills and eight digs. Junior Amanda Hardy (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) orchestrated the offense with 36 assists and chipped in with seven digs and four blocks.

Junior Pamela Heitman (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) led the back row with a match-high 30 digs and Schwoyer led the Giants at the net with a match-best eight total blocks.
