Men’s Basketball Falls 79-71 to Franciscan

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Nov. 17, 2018 - Sophomore Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) poured in a career-high 26 points for the Keystone College men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon despite a 79-71 setback to Franciscan in the consolation game of the Case Western Reserve Tournament.

With the loss, the Giants drop to 0-3 and will host Lehman on Monday, Nov. 26 at 6 pm for the team's home opener. The Barons, meanwhile, improve to 2-1 on the season.

Jordan shot 9-of-15 from the field, 4-of-9 from behind the arc and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe to go along with three rebounds.

Joining Jordan in double figures was junior Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) with 10 points, going 2-of-4 from downtown. Freshman Derrick Donigan (Mt. Washington, Ky./Bullitt East) finished with eight points and a team-high five boards.

Sophomore Jaylen Nuckles (Corning, N.Y./Corning) scored eight points and dished out four assists, tying for the team lead in helpers with senior Devin Stricklin (Midland, Tex./Pro Vision Prep).

Nuckles was named to the All-Tournament Team following the weekend.
