BALTIMORE, Md. – Nov. 3, 2018 – The Keystone College women's volleyball team fell at No. 1 seed Notre Dame of Maryland 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 18-25) on Saturday evening in the 2018 CSAC Final.
The Giants conclude the year at 13-16 while the Gators earn the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament and enter the bracket at 25-4 overall.
Three senior Keystone players appeared in their final match:
Taylor Beatty (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes),
Victoria Homfeld (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) and
Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown).
Beatty led the attacking unit with a match-high 13 kills, hitting .545 (13-1-22) on the day to go along with four digs, two blocks and two assists.
Larkin chipped in with seven kills (.316) and provided three digs while Homfeld contributed three kills and five digs. Junior
Amanda Hardy (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) dished out 25 assists and tallied three service aces while classmate
Pamela Heitman (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) paced the back row with 11 digs.
